All dog breeders aren’t the same. At Dennings Farm, our mission is to raise healthy, happy puppies and finding the right homes for them. We will take the time to educate you on the different breeds available and help you find the one that’s right for you and your family. Denning Farms is a family-owned and operated breeder of maltipoos, cavachons, cavaliers, teddybears, yorkiepoos, cockapoos, puggles and boston terriers. It takes many years of breeding these types of dogs to properly understand and care for them. When you buy a puppy from Denning Farms, you can be sure you are buying from one of the best puppy breeders in the midwest.
Denning Farms is a USDA Licensed Dog Breeder. We are also a member of the Iowa Pet Breeders Association and the Pet Professionals of Southeast Iowa.
Denning Puppy Farm
We truly are a farm that offers our puppies plenty of space and fresh air to grow and be happy. We have a stone and brick building with heated flooring and air-conditioning for our puppies when indoors. They are with adults and our children most of the day. 
Puppies at Denning Farms are part of our family. We enjoy each and every puppy and we know the love, affection and laughter that they will bring to their new families. Getting Started with Puppy Adoption
You’ve begun your search on the internet for puppies for sale, puppy farms, dog farms, etc. For the breeds we offer, you’ve come to the right place! We’ve put more information on-line to help you understand the steps to purchasing your puppy.
Visit the Currently Adopting page of our website for the breed you are interested in to see if they are available at this time. If they are not available now, sign-up for our email list to get an automatic update when they become available. This is the best way to get notified in advance of new puppy litters in advance.
Shipping Puppies for Adoption
Not anywhere near Hougton, IA? That’s not a concern, we can ship your new puppy to you! We have found good homes for our puppies in virtually every state in the US including California, Texas, Florida, and New York. We safely and humanely ship your new puppy directly to you.

My puppy, Ziggy, will be celebrating his 2nd birthday on November 24th. Our experience with Tricia Denning was wonderful! She was very thorough and answered all of our questions in a timely fashion. We were going back and forth between two puppies and she was very patient with us. We drove 16 hours total to pick up our puppy and I would do it all over again! Hi Tricia and Family, it has been a long time since we picked up our sweet Curly (Puggle) from your home 9-22-2012. Today July 28 2022, we are celebrating his 10th birthday. we have had no issues with our fine Puggle. Since the day we brought him home he has been a joy to have in our family. He has grown with Steven through the years walking with him to the bus stop, going on walks, playing in the snow or just being lazy etc...Steven was 7 and is now going to be a senior in high school what a long road traveled. I am thankful that I found you and was able to bring our sweet dog home so many years ago... God Bless Ellyn PS wish I could more pictures... 🙂
Our sweet Gizmo turned 10 last month. He is the healthiest sweetest boy and the most handsome. Easy to say your new puppy is great but our 10 year old is still as cute & healthy as a puppy. Will definitely look to Denning Farms again in the future.
