All dog breeders aren’t the same. At Dennings Farm, our mission is to raise healthy, happy puppies and finding the right homes for them. We will take the time to educate you on the different breeds available and help you find the one that’s right for you and your family. Denning Farms is a family-owned and operated breeder of maltipoos, cavachons, cavaliers, teddybears, yorkiepoos, cockapoos, puggles and boston terriers. It takes many years of breeding these types of dogs to properly understand and care for them. When you buy a puppy from Denning Farms, you can be sure you are buying from one of the best puppy breeders in the midwest.
Denning Farms is a USDA Licensed Dog Breeder. We are also a member of the Iowa Pet Breeders Association and the Pet Professionals of Southeast Iowa.
Denning Puppy Farm
We truly are a farm that offers our puppies plenty of space and fresh air to grow and be happy. We have a stone and brick building with heated flooring and air-conditioning for our puppies when indoors. They are with adults and our children most of the day. 
Puppies at Denning Farms are part of our family. We enjoy each and every puppy and we know the love, affection and laughter that they will bring to their new families. Getting Started with Puppy Adoption
You’ve begun your search on the internet for puppies for sale, puppy farms, dog farms, etc. For the breeds we offer, you’ve come to the right place! We’ve put more information on-line to help you understand the steps to purchasing your puppy.
Visit the Currently Adopting page of our website for the breed you are interested in to see if they are available at this time. If they are not available now, sign-up for our email list to get an automatic update when they become available. This is the best way to get notified in advance of new puppy litters in advance.
Shipping Puppies for Adoption
Not anywhere near Hougton, IA? That’s not a concern, we can ship your new puppy to you! We have found good homes for our puppies in virtually every state in the US including California, Texas, Florida, and New York. We safely and humanely ship your new puppy directly to you.

I picked up Lily on Mother’s Day weekend in 2012. I was looking for a puppy since we had recently lost ours and was not sure if it was the right choice. I was searching late one night on the website and found the teddybear puppies and instantly fell in love with her little face and pink bow. I called Tricia the next day and that was how it all began. I loved the fact that the family posted pictures and videos of the puppies so you could watch them play and grow and see them interacting with her children before they came to their new home. I was a little nervous of purchasing a dog online. However, it was the best experience I ever had and when I pulled into their driveway I was confident that I made a great decision. Tricia is very knowledgeable and gives you a lot of information to prepare for the new addition. Lily has been a perfect fit to our family. She loves people, was easy to train, loves car rides and even at her age is still very playful. She has also been a great dog to be with my aging parents. They absolutely have also become attached to her. I would not hesitate to purchase my next puppy from them.
My puppy, Ziggy, will be celebrating his 2nd birthday on November 24th. Our experience with Tricia Denning was wonderful! She was very thorough and answered all of our questions in a timely fashion. We were going back and forth between two puppies and she was very patient with us. We drove 16 hours total to pick up our puppy and I would do it all over again! He is the healthiest, happiest puppy ever and is the perfect addition to our family. Thanks again Tricia and Denning Farms!!

Sadie is now 19 months and she’s the most famous CockaPoo in our neighborhood. Our family has never been so happy!
We got Louie a little over a year and half ago now. He was my second denning farms dog. My family dog from my childhood a Yorkie-poo also came from denning farms she is turning 16 this January and has been the healthiest happiest most well adjusted and wonderful girl. So I knew where to look when my family was ready to get another small dog. I was not left disappointed with this little guy! Louie came to us so well socialized I couldn’t believe when I opened his crate how he came out snuggled right in he wasn’t scared at all and that carried over to all my kids and my chocolate lab who adores her spunky little brother. He is the perfect addition to our family and is the most loving affectionate little guy, training him was a breeze and he will definitely not be my last denning farms pup!
Love these dogs, best companions ever. Kirby came home almost 5 years ago and has been a blessing ever since. Penny just turned 3 and she is the big, bossy younger sister to Kirby! We are even thinking about getting a 3rd here soon!
Ruby Cavalier whelped on 5/16/19. I selected her for her head size and long snout (pick of litter) and she is a superior specimen. 26 lbs,lean and a wonderful disposition. Denning farms treated us well and their Cavalier genetics are top notch.

Our little Deeks is 2 years old today. It is hard to believe we have had him 2 years already. He is a smart, loving, sweet little dog. He is a fighter. He came down with parvo 6 days after we got him, but fortunately, God had his hand on our little pup and helped him survive. We love him more than words could ever express.
First off this was the best breeder I had contacted about Teddy Bear pups. There are a lot of scammers-Tricia is definitely not. So thorough and down to earth from our initial inquiry until my husband picked the pup up from her house. Our Teddy Bear pup named Bear is the absolute best! He is a joyful little guy who LOVES being around our 3 and 5 year old. Happy, not at all aggressive, loves to play and loves nap time and bedtime. We were beyond thrilled with our experience and would hands down recommend both Denning and Teddy Bears to anyone. Our special little guy doesn’t shed, gives lots of kisses (especially when we wake up, he just licks our faces straight for 5 minutes) and was potty trained by month 3. We couldn’t have picked a better family dog!
