All dog breeders aren’t the same. At Dennings Farm, our mission is to raise healthy, happy puppies and finding the right homes for them. We will take the time to educate you on the different breeds available and help you find the one that’s right for you and your family. Denning Farms is a family-owned and operated breeder of maltipoos, cavachons, cavaliers, teddybears, yorkiepoos, cockapoos, puggles and boston terriers. It takes many years of breeding these types of dogs to properly understand and care for them. When you buy a puppy from Denning Farms, you can be sure you are buying from one of the best puppy breeders in the midwest.
Denning Farms is a USDA Licensed Dog Breeder. We are also a member of the Iowa Pet Breeders Association and the Pet Professionals of Southeast Iowa.
Denning Puppy Farm
We truly are a farm that offers our puppies plenty of space and fresh air to grow and be happy. We have a stone and brick building with heated flooring and air-conditioning for our puppies when indoors. They are with adults and our children most of the day. 
Puppies at Denning Farms are part of our family. We enjoy each and every puppy and we know the love, affection and laughter that they will bring to their new families. Getting Started with Puppy Adoption
You’ve begun your search on the internet for puppies for sale, puppy farms, dog farms, etc. For the breeds we offer, you’ve come to the right place! We’ve put more information on-line to help you understand the steps to purchasing your puppy.
Visit the Currently Adopting page of our website for the breed you are interested in to see if they are available at this time. If they are not available now, sign-up for our email list to get an automatic update when they become available. This is the best way to get notified in advance of new puppy litters in advance.
Shipping Puppies for Adoption
Not anywhere near Hougton, IA? That’s not a concern, we can ship your new puppy to you! We have found good homes for our puppies in virtually every state in the US including California, Texas, Florida, and New York. We safely and humanely ship your new puppy directly to you.

Hi Tricia and Family, it has been a long time since we picked up our sweet Curly (Puggle) from your home 9-22-2012. Today July 28 2022, we are celebrating his 10th birthday. we have had no issues with our fine Puggle. Since the day we brought him home he has been a joy to have in our family. I got Darla from Denning Farms on April 3rd, 2022. (She was born in December) Best decision I’ve ever made! I obviously couldn’t pass up her precious picture online. My puppy, Henry, just had his first birthday this past Sunday so I wanted to come and leave a testimonial for Denning Farms! Henry has been such an amazing addition to our family (my husband and I). Everyone that meets him tells us that he is the cutest dog they have ever seen, and I definitely agree! I had never heard of a cavachon before finding Denning Farms, but I recommend the breed to everyone now! I can't wait to add a second pup to our family and will definitely be working with Tricia again when the time comes. This was our first dog as adults, and Tricia made the process so easy and we could not be happier. Henry has been extremely healthy and always gets rave reviews from his veterinarian. Our “Leo” purchased on 6/14/21 is a warm, cuddly, smart Cockapoo!! She came to us after losing our 10 year old Cockapoo and could not have more completely filled that void. The entire process working with Tricia and Denning Farms was fantastic and I would recommend them to anyone who asks!! Leo is beautiful and loved by all who meet her!!
We picked up our Maltipoo puppy 'Snowy' over the christmas break when he was 9 weeks old. Tricia was kind enough to send over a toy and a blanket rubbed on his litter, which made his initial adjustment easy. In addition Tricia was a pleasure to work with, very professional and helped keep me updated on the puppy during his first 9 weeks.

Finn is almost a year old he will be Dec 5! He has flown with me to visit my daughter in Texas! He has been on a road trip to Kentucky! He loves going in his stroller into a few shopping spots! I took him out Halloween trick a treating with my granddaughter! He is good with kids and other dogs! Very smart dog! Fireworks don’t seem to upset him! He doesn’t mind rain or thunderstorms! I took him out young with a raincoat on to get him use to it! I think he was potty trained by 7 months! Eventually I want to take him on my kayak! Living in a condo on the third floor he has learned to go up and downstairs and has a best friend three doors down! Finn is a very sweet dog with a lot of energy! Loves cuddling and gives great kisses
I was totally against getting a small inside dog, and then my daughter begged for one!
In a moment of weakness I purchased this little cutie. I have completely fallen in love. This is by far the sweetest dog I have ever owned! She was a breeze to potty train, minds very well, and is a major cutler. I don’t think I will now own anything else but teddybears! We all love her! Look no further! If you have a family and want a great family dog this is the bread!

Just wanted to send a photo of Milo after his first groom. He is a 4 month old bundle of joy, energy and happiness. He was easy to potty train and continues to be a daily delight to us. He is such a cuddler and affectionate companion.

Chief will be 4 in July and we do not know how our family ever survived without him. His energy, loyalty and overall kindness is overwhelming. His desire to not know a stranger can be tiresome at times, but he is a very important part of our family.
