All dog breeders aren’t the same. At Dennings Farm, our mission is to raise healthy, happy puppies and finding the right homes for them. We will take the time to educate you on the different breeds available and help you find the one that’s right for you and your family. Denning Farms is a family-owned and operated breeder of maltipoos, cavachons, cavaliers, teddybears, yorkiepoos, cockapoos, puggles and boston terriers. It takes many years of breeding these types of dogs to properly understand and care for them. When you buy a puppy from Denning Farms, you can be sure you are buying from one of the best puppy breeders in the midwest.
Denning Farms is a USDA Licensed Dog Breeder. We are also a member of the Iowa Pet Breeders Association and the Pet Professionals of Southeast Iowa.
Denning Puppy Farm
We truly are a farm that offers our puppies plenty of space and fresh air to grow and be happy. We have a stone and brick building with heated flooring and air-conditioning for our puppies when indoors. They are with adults and our children most of the day. 
Puppies at Denning Farms are part of our family. We enjoy each and every puppy and we know the love, affection and laughter that they will bring to their new families. Getting Started with Puppy Adoption
You’ve begun your search on the internet for puppies for sale, puppy farms, dog farms, etc. For the breeds we offer, you’ve come to the right place! We’ve put more information on-line to help you understand the steps to purchasing your puppy.
Visit the Currently Adopting page of our website for the breed you are interested in to see if they are available at this time. If they are not available now, sign-up for our email list to get an automatic update when they become available. This is the best way to get notified in advance of new puppy litters in advance.
Shipping Puppies for Adoption
Not anywhere near Hougton, IA? That’s not a concern, we can ship your new puppy to you! We have found good homes for our puppies in virtually every state in the US including California, Texas, Florida, and New York. We safely and humanely ship your new puppy directly to you.

This our Tobie. His dob is Aug., 26, 2023. We are absolutely in love with him. We had purchased a Cockapoo in 2008 from Denning Farms. His name was Jaxson. His dob was Aug., 25, 2008. He past on Sept., 23, 2023. I appreciate Trish & family for all the memories we had with Jaxson & will have with Tobie!!!
We adopted our "Winter Bear" in January of 2020. She has been such a joy for our family! We couldn't love her more! Tricia was awesome to work with in picking our puppy, we asked her for the one with a lot of personality and boy did we get that! Winnie is the sweetest, smartest little girl. We got Lexie, a Teddy Bear, from Denning Farms in 2016 to keep our senior Maltese, Izzy, company during the day while we worked. They became besties! We were so happy with our Lexie that when we lost Izzy in 2021, we immediately thought of Trish at Denning Farms to help us and Lexie fill the hole in our hearts. We went online and fell in love with Teddy Bear Female#4! She's the one with the heart-melting expression and the brown patches in her coat. We emailed Trish, then watched and waited until the magical 8-week date came and then we picked her up at Jax Int'l Airport in October 2021. The little furball in that crate stole what was left of our hearts!
We named her Zoey and she keeps Lexie running! Now Lexie is the big sister and her little sister Zoey is her bestie! We recommend Denning Farms to everyone we know who is looking for a great doggie from a very professional breeder. You can tell these puppies are raised with love from birth and for the time they are at the farm--to me, that is very important! Thank you Denning Farms for our little loveys!

I cant say enough about Denning Farms We found our Yorkie Poo (Phylliss) 16 years ago.. She was the best dog that anyone could ask for. Healthy for all 16 years Adorable and such a loving dog. When the time comes for another one Denning Farms will be our go to place. We have recommended many friends and love their dogs from Denning. Phylliss just passed from being 16. Our sweet Gizmo turned 10 last month. He is the healthiest sweetest boy and the most handsome. Easy to say your new puppy is great but our 10 year old is still as cute & healthy as a puppy. Will definitely look to Denning Farms again in the future.

We picked up our Maltipoo puppy 'Snowy' over the christmas break when he was 9 weeks old. Tricia was kind enough to send over a toy and a blanket rubbed on his litter, which made his initial adjustment easy. In addition Tricia was a pleasure to work with, very professional and helped keep me updated on the puppy during his first 9 weeks.
Snowy has brought so much unconditional love and cuddles since his arrival. Thank you to Denning Farms!!
