All dog breeders aren’t the same. At Dennings Farm, our mission is to raise healthy, happy puppies and finding the right homes for them. We will take the time to educate you on the different breeds available and help you find the one that’s right for you and your family. Denning Farms is a family-owned and operated breeder of maltipoos, cavachons, cavaliers, teddybears, yorkiepoos, cockapoos, puggles and boston terriers. It takes many years of breeding these types of dogs to properly understand and care for them. When you buy a puppy from Denning Farms, you can be sure you are buying from one of the best puppy breeders in the midwest.
Denning Farms is a USDA Licensed Dog Breeder. We are also a member of the Iowa Pet Breeders Association and the Pet Professionals of Southeast Iowa.
Denning Puppy Farm
We truly are a farm that offers our puppies plenty of space and fresh air to grow and be happy. We have a stone and brick building with heated flooring and air-conditioning for our puppies when indoors. They are with adults and our children most of the day. 
Puppies at Denning Farms are part of our family. We enjoy each and every puppy and we know the love, affection and laughter that they will bring to their new families. Getting Started with Puppy Adoption
You’ve begun your search on the internet for puppies for sale, puppy farms, dog farms, etc. For the breeds we offer, you’ve come to the right place! We’ve put more information on-line to help you understand the steps to purchasing your puppy.
Visit the Currently Adopting page of our website for the breed you are interested in to see if they are available at this time. If they are not available now, sign-up for our email list to get an automatic update when they become available. This is the best way to get notified in advance of new puppy litters in advance.
Shipping Puppies for Adoption
Not anywhere near Hougton, IA? That’s not a concern, we can ship your new puppy to you! We have found good homes for our puppies in virtually every state in the US including California, Texas, Florida, and New York. We safely and humanely ship your new puppy directly to you.

Hi Tricia and Family, it has been a long time since we picked up our sweet Curly (Puggle) from your home 9-22-2012. Today July 28 2022, we are celebrating his 10th birthday. we have had no issues with our fine Puggle. Since the day we brought him home he has been a joy to have in our family. He has grown with Steven through the years walking with him to the bus stop, going on walks, playing in the snow or just being lazy etc...Steven was 7 and is now going to be a senior in high school what a long road traveled. Our little Deeks is 2 years old today. It is hard to believe we have had him 2 years already. He is a smart, loving, sweet little dog. He is a fighter. He came down with parvo 6 days after we got him, but fortunately, God had his hand on our little pup and helped him survive. We love him more than words could ever express.
I cant say enough about Denning Farms We found our Yorkie Poo (Phylliss) 16 years ago.. She was the best dog that anyone could ask for. Healthy for all 16 years Adorable and such a loving dog. When the time comes for another one Denning Farms will be our go to place. We have recommended many friends and love their dogs from Denning. Phylliss just passed from being 16. I was totally against getting a small inside dog, and then my daughter begged for one!
In a moment of weakness I purchased this little cutie. I have completely fallen in love. This is by far the sweetest dog I have ever owned! She was a breeze to potty train, minds very well, and is a major cutler. I don’t think I will now own anything else but teddybears! We all love her! Look no further! If you have a family and want a great family dog this is the bread!

We adopted our cavachon, Louie, in June 2019. He is the sweetest, smartest, and best lil dog ever. He potty trained within days and blended into our family of six flawlessly. He is great with our four kids. Depending on how we get him groomed, he can look like a lil fluff ball, short and lean, or halfway in between. His favorite place to be is laying next to someone snuggling. We ❤️ our Louie.
Tricia, we are so so happy with our Bella Rose. She has brought us such love and companionship. She is healthy and loves to play with her toys and ball. Thank you for doing such a great job breeding our little girl. We can honestly recommend Denning farms when getting a puppy.

Our “Leo” purchased on 6/14/21 is a warm, cuddly, smart Cockapoo!! She came to us after losing our 10 year old Cockapoo and could not have more completely filled that void.
