All dog breeders aren’t the same. At Dennings Farm, our mission is to raise healthy, happy puppies and finding the right homes for them. We will take the time to educate you on the different breeds available and help you find the one that’s right for you and your family. Denning Farms is a family-owned and operated breeder of maltipoos, cavachons, cavaliers, teddybears, yorkiepoos, cockapoos, puggles and boston terriers. It takes many years of breeding these types of dogs to properly understand and care for them. When you buy a puppy from Denning Farms, you can be sure you are buying from one of the best puppy breeders in the midwest.
Denning Farms is a USDA Licensed Dog Breeder. We are also a member of the Iowa Pet Breeders Association and the Pet Professionals of Southeast Iowa.
Denning Puppy Farm
We truly are a farm that offers our puppies plenty of space and fresh air to grow and be happy. We have a stone and brick building with heated flooring and air-conditioning for our puppies when indoors. They are with adults and our children most of the day. 
Puppies at Denning Farms are part of our family. We enjoy each and every puppy and we know the love, affection and laughter that they will bring to their new families. Getting Started with Puppy Adoption
You’ve begun your search on the internet for puppies for sale, puppy farms, dog farms, etc. For the breeds we offer, you’ve come to the right place! We’ve put more information on-line to help you understand the steps to purchasing your puppy.
Visit the Currently Adopting page of our website for the breed you are interested in to see if they are available at this time. If they are not available now, sign-up for our email list to get an automatic update when they become available. This is the best way to get notified in advance of new puppy litters in advance.
Shipping Puppies for Adoption
Not anywhere near Hougton, IA? That’s not a concern, we can ship your new puppy to you! We have found good homes for our puppies in virtually every state in the US including California, Texas, Florida, and New York. We safely and humanely ship your new puppy directly to you.

Our beautiful cockapoo that we got as a puppy through Denning Farms turned 16 today! She has been such a loving, healthy, energetic family dog to us and we love her to pieces. After doing extensive searching I found Denny Farms in Iowa. I drove to a beautiful family farm out in the country. Tricia is a mom, wife and runs a business of breeding adorable puppies humanely. The website photos are accurate and if you are lucky enough to drive there you will enter a warm family home and have the pleasure of meeting her in person. Our Teddy Bear "BUDDY" has slept thru the night since he got home 5 nights ago. BUDDY adapted quickly to our home with a Female German Shepherd & Male Terrier Mix. We took him to play with children and he loved it. He will be my dads dog as his Maltese died this spring. BUDDY will spend a lot of time with us too so it is important he adjusts to people, dogs and children. BUDDY is the sweetest little guy and I would recommend Denning Farms to anyone looking for a healthy puppy with a good temperament. We are so happy to add him to our furry family!

Love these dogs, best companions ever. Kirby came home almost 5 years ago and has been a blessing ever since. Penny just turned 3 and she is the big, bossy younger sister to Kirby! We are even thinking about getting a 3rd here soon!
We are so happy with our cavachon pup, Auggie, from Denning Farms! We picked him up from the St. Louis airport cargo area last month. We were lucky as the Denning’s were coming our way to ship other puppies from St. Louis. At pickup we witnessed a very organized process for getting the other puppies checked in for their flights. Tricia also gave us a great goodie bag complete with a blanket rubbed on his siblings and some food to get him started. He gets cuter every week and is taking to his training right away!
We are so in love with our Teddy Bear. It took us a few days to name hime but after a family vote he has been named Frankie. He has never met a person he doesn't like. He is entertaining and a huge snuggler. The cat isn't happy he is here but he keeps trying. He is pretty smart. He is 75% potty trained already. Frankie has already been to the groomers and was a real hit with the girls there.
Denning Farms has helped fill a hole in our home since it's been two years without a dog. Frankie is a healthy guy and Frankie thinks everyone should get their puppy at Denning Farms. Even traveling 4 hours to get him was worth every minute. Tricia accomodated us and we appreciate her time with us.
Our dear Gracie is 15.5 and still going strong! Little wobbly in the hips and back legs but still full of love and life! Eats 2x per day...duck a la vege and is quite happy and regular! Lovely dog and so sweet, smart, and kind.
Ruby Cavalier whelped on 5/16/19. I selected her for her head size and long snout (pick of litter) and she is a superior specimen. 26 lbs,lean and a wonderful disposition. Denning farms treated us well and their Cavalier genetics are top notch.
I am purchased Madelyn Brileigh from Trish Denning on 02/27/17. From the moment I saw her, I knew she would’ve one my heart. She is so gentle and loving. She runs like the wind and she loves to fetch and return corn cobs. My cat, Tess, became her best friend and they play together. She is strong, healthy, happy and loved. She has never met a stranger and she loves new people. When it is time for another Teddybear, Trish’s website will be my first stop. I adore Madelyn and could not imagine my life without her.
