All dog breeders aren’t the same. At Dennings Farm, our mission is to raise healthy, happy puppies and finding the right homes for them. We will take the time to educate you on the different breeds available and help you find the one that’s right for you and your family. Denning Farms is a family-owned and operated breeder of maltipoos, cavachons, cavaliers, teddybears, yorkiepoos, cockapoos, puggles and boston terriers. It takes many years of breeding these types of dogs to properly understand and care for them. When you buy a puppy from Denning Farms, you can be sure you are buying from one of the best puppy breeders in the midwest.
Denning Farms is a USDA Licensed Dog Breeder. We are also a member of the Iowa Pet Breeders Association and the Pet Professionals of Southeast Iowa.
Denning Puppy Farm
We truly are a farm that offers our puppies plenty of space and fresh air to grow and be happy. We have a stone and brick building with heated flooring and air-conditioning for our puppies when indoors. They are with adults and our children most of the day. 
Puppies at Denning Farms are part of our family. We enjoy each and every puppy and we know the love, affection and laughter that they will bring to their new families. Getting Started with Puppy Adoption
You’ve begun your search on the internet for puppies for sale, puppy farms, dog farms, etc. For the breeds we offer, you’ve come to the right place! We’ve put more information on-line to help you understand the steps to purchasing your puppy.
Visit the Currently Adopting page of our website for the breed you are interested in to see if they are available at this time. If they are not available now, sign-up for our email list to get an automatic update when they become available. This is the best way to get notified in advance of new puppy litters in advance.
Shipping Puppies for Adoption
Not anywhere near Hougton, IA? That’s not a concern, we can ship your new puppy to you! We have found good homes for our puppies in virtually every state in the US including California, Texas, Florida, and New York. We safely and humanely ship your new puppy directly to you.

I am a loving, responsible dog owner, who is moving away from my family's house and I want an adorable companion of my own! I have owned a Goldendoodle since he was 8 weeks and learned how to care for and train him. Although I'm away I miss him so much and he is what I look forward to most when I go home. I have experience with potty training, general training, giving medications, grooming, going to the vet, and doggy playtime. My Goldendoodle also suffers from a lot of anxiety so I have learned how to give extra care to him. I am a senior in college, 21 years old, and take online classes so I will be at home all day, and I do not like to party. I would love nothing more than one of your Cavachons!
I got Darla from Denning Farms on April 3rd, 2022. (She was born in December) Best decision I’ve ever made! I obviously couldn’t pass up her precious picture online. She’s the perfect balance of sweet and spunky. She’s filled my life with so much joy over the last two months. I’ll definitely be back in the future!
Traci, I purchased Flash on 11/21/23. I was desperate for a puppy to replace the 2 I lost in 2 months time. Flash's name was changed to Dalton. He is so sweet and loving. He is definitely my puppy. He is shy about getting close to other people in the family. He is gradually warming up to my husband. Given time he will be a wonderful addition to our household. Dalton has stolen my heart.
He has seen the Veterinarian and received a clean bill of health. I have already set a date to have him neutered in February.

Bailey is the prefect puppy and she fit into our little family right away. She loves to cuddle and is super friendly to everyone she meets. My experience with Tricia was super positive. I am from Missouri and I was a little hesitant about putting a deposit down when the dog was out of state but Tricia was so professional it helped reassure me this a the right decision. I definitely would get another puppy from Tricia.
Myself & my bf adopted cockapoo littermates who were born on August 25, 2008. My Jaxson & her Sophie gave our families the best 15 years of their short lil lives. Sophie missed her 15th birthday by 3 weeks. Jaxson was 15 years & 23 days old. Today, my husband & myself adopted another Cockapoo from Denning Farms. We put a deposit on our adorable Teddy Bear 5 days after she was born on January 3rd, 2021. At first, I was like so many and skeptical purchasing a puppy online but, after speaking with Tricia I truly felt at ease. It seemed like we waited forever to get our baby but with the updates that Tricia posted of her growing really helped. I was pretty nervous knowing she was going to fly on March 5th from Iowa to Chicago(change planes) and onto her new hometown @ BWI Airport in Maryland, but she did awesome and was such an easy process. Tricia is so organized that it made it simple from start to finish. Meeting Lacie for the first time and getting to hold her was all that I thought it would be. She was as excited to see her mommy and I was her. Kisses all the way home!!!! She had her first vet visit on the 16th and received a lot of attention their and a clean bill of health. She is very playful as Tricia said she was and the kisses keep coming, along with the puppy biting, LOL. She's so adorable and we Love her so much.
