All dog breeders aren’t the same. At Dennings Farm, our mission is to raise healthy, happy puppies and finding the right homes for them. We will take the time to educate you on the different breeds available and help you find the one that’s right for you and your family. Denning Farms is a family-owned and operated breeder of maltipoos, cavachons, cavaliers, teddybears, yorkiepoos, cockapoos, puggles and boston terriers. It takes many years of breeding these types of dogs to properly understand and care for them. When you buy a puppy from Denning Farms, you can be sure you are buying from one of the best puppy breeders in the midwest.
Denning Farms is a USDA Licensed Dog Breeder. We are also a member of the Iowa Pet Breeders Association and the Pet Professionals of Southeast Iowa.
Denning Puppy Farm
We truly are a farm that offers our puppies plenty of space and fresh air to grow and be happy. We have a stone and brick building with heated flooring and air-conditioning for our puppies when indoors. They are with adults and our children most of the day. 
Puppies at Denning Farms are part of our family. We enjoy each and every puppy and we know the love, affection and laughter that they will bring to their new families. Getting Started with Puppy Adoption
You’ve begun your search on the internet for puppies for sale, puppy farms, dog farms, etc. For the breeds we offer, you’ve come to the right place! We’ve put more information on-line to help you understand the steps to purchasing your puppy.
Visit the Currently Adopting page of our website for the breed you are interested in to see if they are available at this time. If they are not available now, sign-up for our email list to get an automatic update when they become available. This is the best way to get notified in advance of new puppy litters in advance.
Shipping Puppies for Adoption
Not anywhere near Hougton, IA? That’s not a concern, we can ship your new puppy to you! We have found good homes for our puppies in virtually every state in the US including California, Texas, Florida, and New York. We safely and humanely ship your new puppy directly to you.

After doing extensive searching I found Denny Farms in Iowa. I drove to a beautiful family farm out in the country. Tricia is a mom, wife and runs a business of breeding adorable puppies humanely. The website photos are accurate and if you are lucky enough to drive there you will enter a warm family home and have the pleasure of meeting her in person. Our Teddy Bear "BUDDY" has slept thru the night since he got home 5 nights ago. BUDDY adapted quickly to our home with a Female German Shepherd & Male Terrier Mix. We took him to play with children and he loved it. He will be my dads dog as his Maltese died this spring. BUDDY will spend a lot of time with us too so it is important he adjusts to people, dogs and children. BUDDY is the sweetest little guy and I would recommend Denning Farms to anyone looking for a healthy puppy with a good temperament. We are so happy to add him to our furry family!
I want to thank Tricia for providing such a wonderful experience for a first-time dog owner. It was very easy to communicate with her throughout the whole process. And of course, we could not be happier with our Pup, Dexter. Our journey began when he was born on May 15, 2020, and we could barely contain our excitement to meet him for pickup on July 17th(and Tricia). Sure, being from Michigan, I was a little apprehensive giving a deposit to a breeder two states away. It was again Tricia being so professional and forthcoming with updates on her website that just assured me that we made the right decision. Thank you again.
We got Louie a little over a year and half ago now. He was my second denning farms dog. My family dog from my childhood a Yorkie-poo also came from denning farms she is turning 16 this January and has been the healthiest happiest most well adjusted and wonderful girl. So I knew where to look when my family was ready to get another small dog. I was not left disappointed with this little guy! Louie came to us so well socialized I couldn’t believe when I opened his crate how he came out snuggled right in he wasn’t scared at all and that carried over to all my kids and my chocolate lab who adores her spunky little brother. He is the perfect addition to our family and is the most loving affectionate little guy, training him was a breeze and he will definitely not be my last denning farms pup!
Our Cockapoo, Bailey, is the best dog I have ever had! She is so loving and such a cuddle dog. She loves to play and go on walks everyday!
Everyone that meets her says she is the most lovable dog - always giving kisses!
She rings the bell to go out rarely has accidents - so smart!
She sleeps with us and cuddles so much it is adorable.

Rudy was in a litter born November 2011. His original owners purchased him from you. Unfortunately Rudy couldn't tag along to college with her. We have had Rudy since July 2012. He has been amazing little guy. Such a mama's boy. He is extremely intelligent and super snuggly. Even at almost 10 years old he still plays as if he was 10 months old. He has never had any health issues. He is perfect! He is such a joy to have in our lives. I was a bit worried when my daughter was born in 2015 but Rudy took on this whole new personality. He was a like a caretaker and watchdog. He would watch her all night and alert us if she cried. I had a bad asthma attack while I was pregnant. Rudy nudged my inhaler to me. He didn't leave my side until I was ok. I may live far away but I will recommend you to anyone looking for a cockapoo. Thank you!

Jaxson is our 13.5 year old cockapoo. His birthday will be August 25th. He has been a joy from day one. His dad & I have made him into a monster. We wouldn’t change it!!! When something would happen to Jax Jax, we will be purchase another one from Denning Farms. Also his litter mate, Sophie is spoiled to!!! Our best friends are her parents!!!
