All dog breeders aren’t the same. At Dennings Farm, our mission is to raise healthy, happy puppies and finding the right homes for them. We will take the time to educate you on the different breeds available and help you find the one that’s right for you and your family. Denning Farms is a family-owned and operated breeder of maltipoos, cavachons, cavaliers, teddybears, yorkiepoos, cockapoos, puggles and boston terriers. It takes many years of breeding these types of dogs to properly understand and care for them. When you buy a puppy from Denning Farms, you can be sure you are buying from one of the best puppy breeders in the midwest.
Denning Farms is a USDA Licensed Dog Breeder. We are also a member of the Iowa Pet Breeders Association and the Pet Professionals of Southeast Iowa.
Denning Puppy Farm
We truly are a farm that offers our puppies plenty of space and fresh air to grow and be happy. We have a stone and brick building with heated flooring and air-conditioning for our puppies when indoors. They are with adults and our children most of the day. 
Puppies at Denning Farms are part of our family. We enjoy each and every puppy and we know the love, affection and laughter that they will bring to their new families. Getting Started with Puppy Adoption
You’ve begun your search on the internet for puppies for sale, puppy farms, dog farms, etc. For the breeds we offer, you’ve come to the right place! We’ve put more information on-line to help you understand the steps to purchasing your puppy.
Visit the Currently Adopting page of our website for the breed you are interested in to see if they are available at this time. If they are not available now, sign-up for our email list to get an automatic update when they become available. This is the best way to get notified in advance of new puppy litters in advance.
Shipping Puppies for Adoption
Not anywhere near Hougton, IA? That’s not a concern, we can ship your new puppy to you! We have found good homes for our puppies in virtually every state in the US including California, Texas, Florida, and New York. We safely and humanely ship your new puppy directly to you.

Finn is almost a year old he will be Dec 5! He has flown with me to visit my daughter in Texas! He has been on a road trip to Kentucky! He loves going in his stroller into a few shopping spots! I took him out Halloween trick a treating with my granddaughter! He is good with kids and other dogs! Very smart dog! Fireworks don’t seem to upset him! He doesn’t mind rain or thunderstorms! I took him out young with a raincoat on to get him use to it! I think he was potty trained by 7 months! Eventually I want to take him on my kayak! Living in a condo on the third floor he has learned to go up and downstairs and has a best friend three doors down! Finn is a very sweet dog with a lot of energy! Loves cuddling and gives great kisses

In a moment of weakness I purchased this little cutie. I have completely fallen in love. This is by far the sweetest dog I have ever owned! She was a breeze to potty train, minds very well, and is a major cutler. I don’t think I will now own anything else but teddybears! We all love her! Look no further! This our Tobie. His dob is Aug., 26, 2023. We are absolutely in love with him. We had purchased a Cockapoo in 2008 from Denning Farms. His name was Jaxson. His dob was Aug., 25, 2008. He past on Sept., 23, 2023. I appreciate Trish & family for all the memories we had with Jaxson & will have with Tobie!!!
Traci, I purchased Flash on 11/21/23. I was desperate for a puppy to replace the 2 I lost in 2 months time. Flash's name was changed to Dalton. He is so sweet and loving. He is definitely my puppy. He is shy about getting close to other people in the family. He is gradually warming up to my husband. Given time he will be a wonderful addition to our household. Dalton has stolen my heart.
He has seen the Veterinarian and received a clean bill of health. I have already set a date to have him neutered in February.

My 12 year old cockapoo had just died and I wasn’t sure if I was even ready to think about having another dog. Breeders in my state weren’t even having liters of cockapoos. It was by luck that I had found Denning farms and they had a liter born 3 days after my sweet pup had died. Trisha was so kind through the whole process, giving updates with pictures and videos. I was skeptical about buying a dog two states away but Trisha made me feel so comfortable.
Dobbi has been such a joy, he has such a fun personality. Not only is he beautiful, he’s sweet and spunky and just the smartest little guy. I couldn’t be more happy to have him.
