All dog breeders aren’t the same. At Dennings Farm, our mission is to raise healthy, happy puppies and finding the right homes for them. We will take the time to educate you on the different breeds available and help you find the one that’s right for you and your family. Denning Farms is a family-owned and operated breeder of maltipoos, cavachons, cavaliers, teddybears, yorkiepoos, cockapoos, puggles and boston terriers. It takes many years of breeding these types of dogs to properly understand and care for them. When you buy a puppy from Denning Farms, you can be sure you are buying from one of the best puppy breeders in the midwest.
Denning Farms is a USDA Licensed Dog Breeder. We are also a member of the Iowa Pet Breeders Association and the Pet Professionals of Southeast Iowa.
Denning Puppy Farm
We truly are a farm that offers our puppies plenty of space and fresh air to grow and be happy. We have a stone and brick building with heated flooring and air-conditioning for our puppies when indoors. They are with adults and our children most of the day. 
Puppies at Denning Farms are part of our family. We enjoy each and every puppy and we know the love, affection and laughter that they will bring to their new families. Getting Started with Puppy Adoption
You’ve begun your search on the internet for puppies for sale, puppy farms, dog farms, etc. For the breeds we offer, you’ve come to the right place! We’ve put more information on-line to help you understand the steps to purchasing your puppy.
Visit the Currently Adopting page of our website for the breed you are interested in to see if they are available at this time. If they are not available now, sign-up for our email list to get an automatic update when they become available. This is the best way to get notified in advance of new puppy litters in advance.
Shipping Puppies for Adoption
Not anywhere near Hougton, IA? That’s not a concern, we can ship your new puppy to you! We have found good homes for our puppies in virtually every state in the US including California, Texas, Florida, and New York. We safely and humanely ship your new puppy directly to you.

Hello! Mia, a teddybear puppy, joined our family Feb 2020, just before the pandemic really set in. She was definitely the bright spot in a pretty dim situation. She is the absolute best puppy; couldn’t imagine our family without her! Tricia was great to work with and answered all of our questions. She invited us into her home to meet Mia and one of her older female teddy bears, who was just as sweet as Mia. If you’re concerned about this being a puppy mill, don’t be. We are so in love with our Teddy Bear. It took us a few days to name hime but after a family vote he has been named Frankie. He has never met a person he doesn't like. He is entertaining and a huge snuggler. The cat isn't happy he is here but he keeps trying. He is pretty smart. He is 75% potty trained already. Frankie has already been to the groomers and was a real hit with the girls there.
Denning Farms has helped fill a hole in our home since it's been two years without a dog. Frankie is a healthy guy and Frankie thinks everyone should get their puppy at Denning Farms. Even traveling 4 hours to get him was worth every minute. Tricia accomodated us and we appreciate her time with us.

Today is our Lollipop's first birthday! She is an awesome addition to our family. She is so sweet and full of personality. Lollie loves to play with our 5 year old grand daughter and her silver lab. She has been a blessing to us after being without our last cavalier for three years. Lollie brings joy to our lives. My husband surprised me with the puppy or my dreams the day after Christmas. He was perfect No health concerns and very well taken care of also she met us half way which was wonderful
Our maltipoo, Milo, turned 1 year on July 4. He is the most wonderful pet anyone could ask for. He brings us a tremendous amount of joy every day. Milo’s temperament is that of a sweet, loving dog. We wanted a lap dog and we definitely got one. If we are sitting down, he is in our lap!!! He is very smart and trained easily.

Finn is almost a year old he will be Dec 5! He has flown with me to visit my daughter in Texas! He has been on a road trip to Kentucky! He loves going in his stroller into a few shopping spots! I took him out Halloween trick a treating with my granddaughter! He is good with kids and other dogs! Very smart dog! Fireworks don’t seem to upset him! He doesn’t mind rain or thunderstorms! I took him out young with a raincoat on to get him use to it! I think he was potty trained by 7 months! Eventually I want to take him on my kayak! Living in a condo on the third floor he has learned to go up and downstairs and has a best friend three doors down! Finn is a very sweet dog with a lot of energy! Loves cuddling and gives great kisses
Chief will be 4 in July and we do not know how our family ever survived without him. His energy, loyalty and overall kindness is overwhelming. His desire to not know a stranger can be tiresome at times, but he is a very important part of our family.
My Chloe was born on May 7th 2021. She is a cavachon and the best decision I made in my life. Tricia and her family did a marvelous job of socializing their puppies. My other dog had passed away and I was overcome with grief. So I made the decision to get a new puppy to make the missing of my other dog a little easier. I loved my Bella but I have to say that this dog is the smartest dog that I've ever owned in my entire life. She's just barely over a year old now and still all puppy. I recommend Tricia with my whole heart for the way that she cares for these puppies. We love Chloe so much that we're actually now trying to think about going and getting another one. Chloe needs a friend that can run around and chase her. We have another older dog but she just can't keep up with Chloe LOL. So I hope to see them again real soon to add another family member to our household.

Jaxson is our 13.5 year old cockapoo. His birthday will be August 25th. He has been a joy from day one. His dad & I have made him into a monster. We wouldn’t change it!!! When something would happen to Jax Jax, we will be purchase another one from Denning Farms. Also his litter mate, Sophie is spoiled to!!! Our best friends are her parents!!!
