All dog breeders aren’t the same. At Dennings Farm, our mission is to raise healthy, happy puppies and finding the right homes for them. We will take the time to educate you on the different breeds available and help you find the one that’s right for you and your family. Denning Farms is a family-owned and operated breeder of maltipoos, cavachons, cavaliers, teddybears, yorkiepoos, cockapoos, puggles and boston terriers. It takes many years of breeding these types of dogs to properly understand and care for them. When you buy a puppy from Denning Farms, you can be sure you are buying from one of the best puppy breeders in the midwest.
Denning Farms is a USDA Licensed Dog Breeder. We are also a member of the Iowa Pet Breeders Association and the Pet Professionals of Southeast Iowa.
Denning Puppy Farm
We truly are a farm that offers our puppies plenty of space and fresh air to grow and be happy. We have a stone and brick building with heated flooring and air-conditioning for our puppies when indoors. They are with adults and our children most of the day. 
Puppies at Denning Farms are part of our family. We enjoy each and every puppy and we know the love, affection and laughter that they will bring to their new families. Getting Started with Puppy Adoption
You’ve begun your search on the internet for puppies for sale, puppy farms, dog farms, etc. For the breeds we offer, you’ve come to the right place! We’ve put more information on-line to help you understand the steps to purchasing your puppy.
Visit the Currently Adopting page of our website for the breed you are interested in to see if they are available at this time. If they are not available now, sign-up for our email list to get an automatic update when they become available. This is the best way to get notified in advance of new puppy litters in advance.
Shipping Puppies for Adoption
Not anywhere near Hougton, IA? That’s not a concern, we can ship your new puppy to you! We have found good homes for our puppies in virtually every state in the US including California, Texas, Florida, and New York. We safely and humanely ship your new puppy directly to you.

My Chloe was born on May 7th 2021. She is a cavachon and the best decision I made in my life. Tricia and her family did a marvelous job of socializing their puppies. My other dog had passed away and I was overcome with grief. So I made the decision to get a new puppy to make the missing of my other dog a little easier. I loved my Bella but I have to say that this dog is the smartest dog that I've ever owned in my entire life. She's just barely over a year old now and still all puppy. I recommend Tricia with my whole heart for the way that she cares for these puppies. We love Chloe so much that we're actually now trying to think about going and getting another one. Chloe needs a friend that can run around and chase her. We have another older dog but she just can't keep up with Chloe LOL. I got Trixie from the Dennings 3 years ago. She is funny, loving, and all around the best dog. Tricia was very easy to work with then and also now since I'm getting another Teddy Bear from her this weekend!
Otis just turned one and has been an absolute joy! He quickly potty trained and rings a bell to go outside. He loves to snuggle and only barks when someone is at the door. He adores our older dog and has brought more life back into her. He’s a great dog!
Tricia was wonderful with the whole process. I really liked that I spoke to her, in person. She always took the time to answer all my questions and made the whole process smooth. I could tell that Otis received a lot of love and attention before he came to our home. ❤️

My 12 year old cockapoo had just died and I wasn’t sure if I was even ready to think about having another dog. Breeders in my state weren’t even having liters of cockapoos. It was by luck that I had found Denning farms and they had a liter born 3 days after my sweet pup had died. Trisha was so kind through the whole process, giving updates with pictures and videos. I was skeptical about buying a dog two states away but Trisha made me feel so comfortable.
Dobbi has been such a joy, he has such a fun personality. Not only is he beautiful, he’s sweet and spunky and just the smartest little guy. I couldn’t be more happy to have him.
Bailey is the prefect puppy and she fit into our little family right away. She loves to cuddle and is super friendly to everyone she meets. My experience with Tricia was super positive. I am from Missouri and I was a little hesitant about putting a deposit down when the dog was out of state but Tricia was so professional it helped reassure me this a the right decision. I definitely would get another puppy from Tricia.
We purchased Lexie 5 years ago and added Zoey to our family just 3 months ago. We are so happy with our furbabies from Denning Farms and have recommended them to all our friends!! You can tell these puppies are born into a loving home❤ and that's so important!

We put a deposit on our adorable Teddy Bear 5 days after she was born on January 3rd, 2021. At first, I was like so many and skeptical purchasing a puppy online but, after speaking with Tricia I truly felt at ease. It seemed like we waited forever to get our baby but with the updates that Tricia posted of her growing really helped. I was pretty nervous knowing she was going to fly on March 5th from Iowa to Chicago(change planes) and onto her new hometown @ BWI Airport in Maryland, but she did awesome and was such an easy process. Tricia is so organized that it made it simple from start to finish. Meeting Lacie for the first time and getting to hold her was all that I thought it would be. She was as excited to see her mommy and I was her. Kisses all the way home!!!! She had her first vet visit on the 16th and received a lot of attention their and a clean bill of health. She is very playful as Tricia said she was and the kisses keep coming, along with the puppy biting, LOL. She's so adorable and we Love her so much.
