All dog breeders aren’t the same. At Dennings Farm, our mission is to raise healthy, happy puppies and finding the right homes for them. We will take the time to educate you on the different breeds available and help you find the one that’s right for you and your family. Denning Farms is a family-owned and operated breeder of maltipoos, cavachons, cavaliers, teddybears, yorkiepoos, cockapoos, puggles and boston terriers. It takes many years of breeding these types of dogs to properly understand and care for them. When you buy a puppy from Denning Farms, you can be sure you are buying from one of the best puppy breeders in the midwest.
Denning Farms is a USDA Licensed Dog Breeder. We are also a member of the Iowa Pet Breeders Association and the Pet Professionals of Southeast Iowa.
Denning Puppy Farm
We truly are a farm that offers our puppies plenty of space and fresh air to grow and be happy. We have a stone and brick building with heated flooring and air-conditioning for our puppies when indoors. They are with adults and our children most of the day. 
Puppies at Denning Farms are part of our family. We enjoy each and every puppy and we know the love, affection and laughter that they will bring to their new families. Getting Started with Puppy Adoption
You’ve begun your search on the internet for puppies for sale, puppy farms, dog farms, etc. For the breeds we offer, you’ve come to the right place! We’ve put more information on-line to help you understand the steps to purchasing your puppy.
Visit the Currently Adopting page of our website for the breed you are interested in to see if they are available at this time. If they are not available now, sign-up for our email list to get an automatic update when they become available. This is the best way to get notified in advance of new puppy litters in advance.
Shipping Puppies for Adoption
Not anywhere near Hougton, IA? That’s not a concern, we can ship your new puppy to you! We have found good homes for our puppies in virtually every state in the US including California, Texas, Florida, and New York. We safely and humanely ship your new puppy directly to you.

We brought Ellie home last Friday. Her arrival at the airport was a breeze. Nearly a week that she's been with us and am so grateful to have this little ball of joy as part of our family. She is so easy going and relaxed, even sleeping through the night. Just working on the house training now. Made it through her first vet appointment with flying colors!

We got Hawkeye and Wrigley (Teddybears). Hawkeye is now 9 years old and Wrigley is 8 years old now. We love these two so much! Hawk is very snuggly and loves our son so much. Wrigley is a little jealous but such a happy pup as he likes his snuggles during the night before bed. If we ever want another pup again we will definitely being getting another from Denning Farms! ❤️
My little Rosebud started out as quite a handful but one and a half years later, I see that she is just so smart and has a huge personality. Once again, my life is greatly enhanced and I have Tricia to thank.

Chief will be 4 in July and we do not know how our family ever survived without him. His energy, loyalty and overall kindness is overwhelming. His desire to not know a stranger can be tiresome at times, but he is a very important part of our family.
We can't say enough about Tricia and Denning Farms; if there were more stars, we would give her a 10. Their pups are healthy and professionally cared for from breeding, to birth and sale. Tricia is always available to new pup owners, before and after purchase. Our little bundle of joy brings a smile to our faces so many times each day; a sign of a good breed, personality and healthy pup. We are discussing purchasing another Teddy Bear and there is only one site we will visit...Denning Farms is the best.
I want to thank Tricia for providing such a wonderful experience for a first-time dog owner. It was very easy to communicate with her throughout the whole process. And of course, we could not be happier with our Pup, Dexter. Our journey began when he was born on May 15, 2020, and we could barely contain our excitement to meet him for pickup on July 17th(and Tricia). Sure, being from Michigan, I was a little apprehensive giving a deposit to a breeder two states away. It was again Tricia being so professional and forthcoming with updates on her website that just assured me that we made the right decision. Thank you again.
