All dog breeders aren’t the same. At Dennings Farm, our mission is to raise healthy, happy puppies and finding the right homes for them. We will take the time to educate you on the different breeds available and help you find the one that’s right for you and your family. Denning Farms is a family-owned and operated breeder of maltipoos, cavachons, cavaliers, teddybears, yorkiepoos, cockapoos, puggles and boston terriers. It takes many years of breeding these types of dogs to properly understand and care for them. When you buy a puppy from Denning Farms, you can be sure you are buying from one of the best puppy breeders in the midwest.
Denning Farms is a USDA Licensed Dog Breeder. We are also a member of the Iowa Pet Breeders Association and the Pet Professionals of Southeast Iowa.
Denning Puppy Farm
We truly are a farm that offers our puppies plenty of space and fresh air to grow and be happy. We have a stone and brick building with heated flooring and air-conditioning for our puppies when indoors. They are with adults and our children most of the day. 
Puppies at Denning Farms are part of our family. We enjoy each and every puppy and we know the love, affection and laughter that they will bring to their new families. Getting Started with Puppy Adoption
You’ve begun your search on the internet for puppies for sale, puppy farms, dog farms, etc. For the breeds we offer, you’ve come to the right place! We’ve put more information on-line to help you understand the steps to purchasing your puppy.
Visit the Currently Adopting page of our website for the breed you are interested in to see if they are available at this time. If they are not available now, sign-up for our email list to get an automatic update when they become available. This is the best way to get notified in advance of new puppy litters in advance.
Shipping Puppies for Adoption
Not anywhere near Hougton, IA? That’s not a concern, we can ship your new puppy to you! We have found good homes for our puppies in virtually every state in the US including California, Texas, Florida, and New York. We safely and humanely ship your new puppy directly to you.

Ruby Cavalier whelped on 5/16/19. I selected her for her head size and long snout (pick of litter) and she is a superior specimen. 26 lbs,lean and a wonderful disposition. Denning farms treated us well and their Cavalier genetics are top notch.
I got Luna in January 2019 and she has been the best friend a girl could ask for. She is such a sweet cuddle bug but she loves romping in the outdoors too. The whole process of getting her was super easy and the folks at Denning Farms were wonderful to work with. We got Louie a little over a year and half ago now. He was my second denning farms dog. My family dog from my childhood a Yorkie-poo also came from denning farms she is turning 16 this January and has been the healthiest happiest most well adjusted and wonderful girl. So I knew where to look when my family was ready to get another small dog. I was not left disappointed with this little guy! Louie came to us so well socialized I couldn’t believe when I opened his crate how he came out snuggled right in he wasn’t scared at all and that carried over to all my kids and my chocolate lab who adores her spunky little brother. He is the perfect addition to our family and is the most loving affectionate little guy, training him was a breeze and he will definitely not be my last denning farms pup!
I got two beautiful dogs that I love so much Sunny and Peaches
We purchased our 19 week old Cockapoo (male - named Gipper) from the Denning Farms on December 11, 2021. We are a senior couple in our late seventies and live near Seattle, WA. We asked Tricia for the most laid back or easy going cockapoo out of her litter of 5 males and 2 females. She helped us pick the male B cockapoo (Gipper).
Our experience with Tricia was outstanding. She went out of her way to make sure that the puppy was sent via airplane on a non-stop direct flight to Seattle for the safety and concern for the puppy's welfare and comfort.
Gipper was an addition to our house to fill in for the loss of our beloved Cockapoo (Scooter - female) who passed away (age 15 years old) on September 13, 2021.
Gipper is the most wonderful puppy we have ever raised. He is extremely bright, easy to train and the most affectionate dog we have ever had for a family member. He has brought so much happiness and life into this household. The very first night he slept 9 hours. He has continued to sleep quietly every night for at lest 8 - 9 hours. After only 2 1/2 weeks he is almost house trained. He learns something new everyday. He is not a barker (except when he sees a dog or hears another dog). Yesterday, he learned to sleep in a dog bed during his afternoon resting times.
This is the best Christmas present to ourselves in decades. Thanks to Denny Farms and Tricia for making this possible.
