All dog breeders aren’t the same. At Dennings Farm, our mission is to raise healthy, happy puppies and finding the right homes for them. We will take the time to educate you on the different breeds available and help you find the one that’s right for you and your family. Denning Farms is a family-owned and operated breeder of maltipoos, cavachons, cavaliers, teddybears, yorkiepoos, cockapoos, puggles and boston terriers. It takes many years of breeding these types of dogs to properly understand and care for them. When you buy a puppy from Denning Farms, you can be sure you are buying from one of the best puppy breeders in the midwest.
Denning Farms is a USDA Licensed Dog Breeder. We are also a member of the Iowa Pet Breeders Association and the Pet Professionals of Southeast Iowa.
Denning Puppy Farm
We truly are a farm that offers our puppies plenty of space and fresh air to grow and be happy. We have a stone and brick building with heated flooring and air-conditioning for our puppies when indoors. They are with adults and our children most of the day. 
Puppies at Denning Farms are part of our family. We enjoy each and every puppy and we know the love, affection and laughter that they will bring to their new families. Getting Started with Puppy Adoption
You’ve begun your search on the internet for puppies for sale, puppy farms, dog farms, etc. For the breeds we offer, you’ve come to the right place! We’ve put more information on-line to help you understand the steps to purchasing your puppy.
Visit the Currently Adopting page of our website for the breed you are interested in to see if they are available at this time. If they are not available now, sign-up for our email list to get an automatic update when they become available. This is the best way to get notified in advance of new puppy litters in advance.
Shipping Puppies for Adoption
Not anywhere near Hougton, IA? That’s not a concern, we can ship your new puppy to you! We have found good homes for our puppies in virtually every state in the US including California, Texas, Florida, and New York. We safely and humanely ship your new puppy directly to you.

I want to thank Tricia for providing such a wonderful experience for a first-time dog owner. It was very easy to communicate with her throughout the whole process. And of course, we could not be happier with our Pup, Dexter. Our journey began when he was born on May 15, 2020, and we could barely contain our excitement to meet him for pickup on July 17th(and Tricia). We named our Teddybear puppy Remy. We were so excited to meet her so it felt like an eternity waiting to pick her up at the airport on January 7th. Initially I was worried about her long travel day to us but she arrived so happy and healthy. Remy is gentle, playful, incredibly smart and a total cuddle bug. Potty training has been pretty easy as it seems that she came to us already knowing that she must handle her business outside. She immediately slept in her crate only waking once during the night to potty for the first week. Since then she has been sleeping through the night without any issues. I mean is this even normal for a puppy!? I honestly feel that Remy's temperament is a testament to the wonderful job that Trisha and her family do raising these puppies until finding them their forever home. I will be honest and say that I had some reservations about purchasing a puppy from out of state and from a picture but this turned out to be the best decision ever! We absolutely adore Remy! When it is time to get our Remy girl a sibling we will definitely be coming back to Denning Farms! THANK YOU TRISHA!!
I am absolutely grateful for finding Tricia and Denning Farms, a year ago while battling anxiety and depression, my dog has been the best emotional support animal and brought so much joy to my life!!!!! Just wanted to send a photo of Milo after his first groom. He is a 4 month old bundle of joy, energy and happiness. He was easy to potty train and continues to be a daily delight to us. He is such a cuddler and affectionate companion.

Falkor is a little over a year now got him last September. He loves playing with his toys & running around the yard. He also likes to play with his 2year old brother who is also a cavachon. He's been a amazing addition to the family 🙂

We are still absolutely loving our puppy Freo that we purchased from you back in April! He is healthy, and full of energy!!! We couldn’t be more pleased. He truly be any cuter either!
I did have a question for you. When we first got him, you sent us home with some food samples you use, but I had never heard of the brand back then, and couldn’t find it. Was the brand “Zignature” by any chance?
Freo seems to be licking his paws a lot, and throws up about once a week, so I think it’s time we look into a different diet. He’s been on Purina Pro Plan. Just curious what you use since you feed a lot of little mouths!
